YOUTUBE LEGAL PROBLEMS?

I hope youtube doesn't get sued for copyright infringement, because basically all I use you tube for is watching old news and entertainment clips, and sometimes music videos. I watch things that you can not find on video or dvd, rarities I could only find on the internet. To me that is what makes youtube a site I keep going back to. I admit I don't really watch, for lack of a better word, amature videos (like the ones I post). I don't give them a chance. Sometimes if an amature videos discription sounds interesting, I'll watch it. I feel guilty not watching videos created by individuals who do not have a huge production company backing their work, because that is what make youtube revolutionary. It is an easy way to get exposure and recognition for your art. Legal issues are threatening to destroy the vastness of youtube's archive. It is important to keep youtube free, so anyone can find peices of entertainment they can otherwise not afford to see. It is like a library.
